Introduction to the team
Welcome to the Enterprise Systems Consulting (ESC) within Moss Adams. Our enterprise systems services help cut through overhead and lead time, providing clients the same capabilities with greater flexibility and less effort.
We serve as a guide to help clients implement a comprehensive portfolio of software tools known as an enterprise system to solve operational and financial needs.
In this role you will work as part of our team to implement, support, and use Workday Adaptive Planning in helping our clients improve their financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities
- Participates in the selection, implementation, configuration, testing, support, customization, and optimization our clients’ financial reporting, forecasting and planning systems
- Develops and maintains accurate financial reports to meet client needs
- Develops, configures, and maintains accurate forecasting and planning models to meet client needs
- Develops and maintains detailed technical knowledge of the specifications, operation, and diagnostics of reporting, forecasting, and planning systems
- Implements and coordinates organizational / tree / outline maintenance that impacts reporting
- Implements process and report automation using systems capabilities
- Conducts and contributes to client financial forecasting and planning projects and recommends business process improvement efforts
- Participates in process improvement projects, identifies and implements reporting and data efficiencies to reduce client time compiling data
- Plans and conducts training sessions for users
- Communicates with colleagues and peers regarding new technologies that could effect, improve or benefit clients of the firm
- Documents procedures, reports, and operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; major in accounting or information systems preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of financial applications systems experience required
- 1+ year of Workday Adaptive Planning experience strongly preferred
- Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Visio, and SharePoint preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change
- Able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people and in teams
- Demonstrated superior level of client service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
- Able to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
