How You’ll Make an Impact
- As a Project Manager (f / m / d) M&A Deal Financials you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, which actively contributes to the conversion of the global Siemens Energy portfolio
- Support of complex global M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestments, and joint venture projects). Leadership in financial due diligence projects (both buy and sell side) and defined modules, including analysis and presentation of historical and projected financial performance of businesses, as well as coordination of business valuation with the department head
- Assistance in the preparation and modeling of carve-out deal financial statements, ensuring auditability
- Provision of advice on drafting relevant M&A contract clauses, particularly focusing on established closing mechanisms, and taking responsibility for their execution
- Leading the execution of M&A projects in coordination with the department head
- Prepare well-structured decision-making documents for Senior Management and Siemens Energy decision making bodies and participate in M&A negotiations
- Independent coordination of specialist teams throughout the execution phase of the M&A lifecycle, comprising internal and external consultants (including financial advisors)
- Dynamic engagement in further developing the departmental processes and working methods
What You Bring
A robust academic background and solid understanding of IFRS, accompanied by the attainment of a pertinent academic degree (, business administration, MBA).
Additional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous
- 5+ years experience as M&A and / or Financial Due Diligence advisor and good knowledge about M&A and / or closely related fields ( Corporate finance, M&A transaction services in Big 4 company, investment banking, private equity)
- International experience in complex projects or worked abroad. Preferably leading interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent knowledge regarding fundamental corporate analysis (business models incl. value drivers), external accounting and are familiar with M&A related contractual framework
- Expertise in business valuation
- Very good numerical reasoning, high analytical skills and being able to independently prepare and visualize complex facts for the Senior Management by using Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Powerpoint, think-cell
