Assembler / QC Technician

Assembler / QC Technician Elk Grove Village (on-site M-F, 1st Shift - Days) Summary / Objective The Assembler assembles machinery for the food and pharmaceutical production / packaging industries.

Anritsu is a leader in detection and inspection products. The Assembler will collaborate with the Assembly Supervisor to assemble precision products for quick delivery to our customers.

This role requires organization skills, very strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills. Our goal is to deliver Quality Inspection Equipment to our customers.

Essential Functions Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand and power toolsQuality Control - Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsHands-on precision assembly and integration of all our inspection equipmentQuality assurance and final test of productsMaintain a record of all parts used for assemblyWork to meet customer order expected delivery datePerform other duties and projects at the direction of the Assembly Supervisor We are a growing company serving the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Competencies Technical CapacityLearning OrientationTime ManagementDetail-orientation Education and Experience Required Minimum Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Controls or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical education / experience such as through the military.
