- Independently manage all aspects of medical device packaging projects, from concept development to implementation.
- Lead and manage the work of offshore / offshore packaging engineering resources, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, regulatory, manufacturing) to design and develop optimal packaging solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices for medical device packaging.
- Conduct and interpret lab testing to ensure packaging meets performance requirements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of cost-optimization principles for packaging design.
- Document packaging processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device packaging engineering.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex medical device packaging or similar projects.
- Experience leading and managing a team of engineers (a plus).
- Understanding of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Experience with packaging materials, testing methodologies, and cost-analysis is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
