- Represent clients in multifamily housing transactions, including those utilizing tax credits and federal subsidy programs
- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including tax-exempt bond financings and HUD-insured financings
- Advise on affordable housing development and community projects
- Draft and review transactional documents related to real estate financing and development
- Collaborate with team members on transactions involving low-income housing tax credits and historic rehabilitation tax credits
- Engage with clients on the structuring of partnerships and joint ventures, particularly in tax credit and subsidy programs
- Maintain a strong organizational approach to managing multiple complex transactions simultaneously
Requirements :
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably in affordable housing or community development
- Familiarity with low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and federal subsidy programs is a plus
- Experience with tax-exempt bond financings, HUD, and Agency financings is advantageous
- Strong interest in affordable housing and community development
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications :
Active bar membership in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
