The Material Handler is responsible for the physical movement, mixing and drying of plastic resin materials. The Material Handler role would work Monday-Thursday, 2 : 15pm- 12 : 45am and report to the Plant Manager.
Job Duties Stage production orders and complete corresponding transactions in the computer. Prepare mix and dry resins as instructed.
Collect finished goods and transport to shipping. Record lot numbers of raw plastic resins as needed. Put new inventory in a warehouse location and completed corresponding transactions in the computer.
Maintain good housekeeping of warehouse. Cycle count inventory. Report inventory discrepancies. Keep work area clean. Identify, recommend and notify appropriate people of any quality system problems.
Safely use all equipment supplied for the above tasks (forklifts, mixers, drying equipment and pallet jacks). Any other duties as assigned by management.
