With the support of Skylight, management intends to double the company’s size over the next five (5) years.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Guardian is looking for a result-oriented Production Manager who can bring leadership, experience, technical expertise and business acumen to manage the day-to-day operations as well as all aspects of repair and maintenance production within the organization.

To succeed as our Production Manager, you must thrive on working in a team environment to handle multiple projects and people to meet critical deadlines to achieve 100% client loyalty.

You must enjoy learning and implementing new systems to improve the existing operations within the department and be committed to maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the repair & Maintenance production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Project planning and coordination : Develop comprehensive plans for repair and maintenance projects, including scheduling, labor and resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Team Leadership and Management : Supervise and mentor a team of technicians providing guidance, technical training, and support as needed.
  • Attend and lead daily department Team meetings and weekly safety meetings.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional development among technicians.
  • Quality Assurance : Oversee all aspects of repair and maintenance work to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relations : Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, and assist with addressing any concerns related to projects.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making : Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement.
  • Make timely decisions to keep projects on track and ensure successful outcomes with customer’s needs in mind.

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 3-5 years of proven experience managing production operations and people.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Excellent customer service skills. Able to build a strong trust level with clients and provide a great experience before, during, and after the project.
  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, materials and installation techniques.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Excellent time management & organization skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Must be able to be on roofs, sometimes up to 40 ft tall.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times

COMPENSATION :

  • $80,000 - $90,000 / year
