Job Description
Children’s Therapy Center is looking for a 3rd Party / Independent Contractor to provide evaluations and assessments for children and families referred to Children’s Therapy Center’s Early Support for Infants and Toddlers Program, in order to determine eligibility for the program.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.
This opportunity is a temporary, expected for up to 6-months, with potential for extension.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations as part of an interdisciplinary evaluation team using formal and informal assessment tools, both in-person (if local) and remotely to determine eligibility for ESIT Services
- Create documentation that summarizes program eligibility results
- Maintain timely documentation and records for completed work, including completing all documentation within CTC ESIT’s designated timeframe of 3 business days post evaluation.
- Contribute to the development of COS prep tool for geographic team to use in determining service delivery
- Contribute to the end of evaluation letter and include therapeutic activities discussed with the family.
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative evaluation team
- Ability to perform duties related to licensed credential or specialty
Qualifications
- Must have or obtain a license for practice in the State of Washington as a PT, OT, SLP, Social Worker, or Special Educator, or obtain approval as an Early Interventionist through DCYF / ESIT
- Degree in a field related to the required license, Early Childhood Studies or accredited coursework including Child Development;
Evaluation / Assessment ; Curriculum / Intervention and Family Systems; resume and transcripts may be requested in order to demonstrate this coursework in cases where a state issued license does not apply
- Dedicated to quality of practice, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
- Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
If local) A valid Driver's License and or reliable personal transportation may be required for positions working in-person

Schedule and Work Arrangements
This position is open as temporary, for up to 6-months, with potential for extension. Conducting ESIT Evaluations is the primary responsibility of this position, and interested persons must be available to commit to at least 2 weekly reoccurring evaluation blocks.
Persons serving in this position may be asked to support evaluations across teams. When an evaluation is scheduled locally, the person or persons on the evaluation team may be asked to report in-person for the Evaluation.
Team members serving outside the local area may be permitted to join remotely.
Compensation and Benefits
This position will be paid per evaluation : $200.00 per each completed evaluation and $100.00 for any no-show or cancelled evaluations that was scheduled.
