Episcope is now looking for an experienced, passionate Director of Sales to lead our first foray in Houston, in a luxury hotel.

If you've successfully sold private dining, catering, and private event functions for a multimillion-dollar full-service restaurant for at least 2-years, and share our passion for food, music, and design then we would like to talk to you.

Summary of Position

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organization, training, and leadership required to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and hospitality, food quality and consistency, and cleanliness and sanitation for our private dining business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Living up to our shared belief in excellence.

Overseeing the sales of events and catering for the property.

Collaborating with clients to cater to their individual needs, preferences, and event

objectives.

Cultivating strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and partners to

drive bookings and generate new business opportunities.

Fostering long-term client loyalty and advocacy through memorable experiences,

proactive communication, and attentive follow-up.

Providing floor coverage, when necessary or appropriate, during shifts when parties are

present.

Ensuring all events effectively maximize sales potential and deliver high guest

satisfaction.

Living, breathing, and teaching the Episcope’s culture, its philosophies, and core values.

Maintaining safe and secure working conditions throughout all areas of the operation

for the well-being of restaurant staff and the protection of restaurant assets.

Act as the liaison for all information regarding events and catering between the client,

management, culinary team, and staff.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, empowering them to deliver

flawless execution and exceed performance targets.

Fully understanding and complying with all federal, state, county and municipal

regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or related field, with a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work long hours to ensure the success of events, support for team members, and ensure excellence and satisfaction for clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically with clients, understand their needs, and exceed their expectations.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Leadership qualities, with a passion for inspiring and motivating teams to achieve excellence and exceed performance targets.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to conceptualize and execute unique event experiences that delight clients and guests.

Pay : From $75,000 - $90,000 per year Plus Commission
