The Hospital Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the pharmacy team, which entails but is not limited to :
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacy operations.
- Oversee all financial operations
- Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
- Monitor medication usage patterns and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for drug information and provide clinical support to healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to pharmacy operations.
The Manager Pharmacy Services will be fully supported by an experienced pharmacy team and will report directly to the Pharmacy Director to collaborate with them on unit goals and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong pharmacy operations background, and will have experience with the 340B program.
