Pay rate : $24 - $28 per hour DOE Mon - Fri 6 : 00 am - 4 : 4 : 30 pm, 6 : 00 am - 11 : 30 am Fridays

What’s a typical day as a Welding Quality Inspector? You’ll be :
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and contract specifications.
- Following all company safety and quality requirements.
- Ensuring that all materials and workmanship are completed in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
- Reviewing welding specs and working with the team to solve fabrication challenges.
- Documenting and segregating non-conforming fabricated material and workmanship.
- Reviewing and addressing remedies for non-conformances with site management and shop supervisor.
- Insuring Welding Specification Procedures (WPS) are current and in place for projects.
- Supervising and / or conducting Welder Qualification Test Reports (WQTR) to industry standards.
- Remaining current with industry licenses, code analysis, and procedures.
- Working with Quality Assurance and Site Managers to develop annual training programs for employees.
- Representing the company on field issues requiring investigation and decisions associated with product quality and conformance.
- Operating overhead crane safely.
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

- Possess knowledge of welding codes such as AWS, City of LA, API, UL, or STI.
- Have a thorough knowledge of contract documents and blueprint reading.
