Salary : $18- $26 / hr. DOE

Tool & Die Repair Technician Responsibilities :
- Visualizes the structure and function of the die. Plans operations while applying knowledge of shop math, machining, assembling methods, and metal forming presses.
- Studies blueprints of product and die, prototype products, and die models.
- Lifts machined parts manually or with a hoist, positioning them on the die shoe for assembly; dowels and bolts parts together.
- Shapes smooth and fits flat and contoured surfaces of die members and parts according to required tolerances.
- Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearance of members and parts in die, using various instruments.
- Fit and assembles components for mechanical action within die.
- Communicates with co-workers and Supervisors to receive instruction and coordinate activities.
- Ensures tools are finished within time requirements.
Tool & Die Repair Technician Qualifications :
- Vocational or Trade School Diploma preferred.
- 3-5 years of prior bench experience.
- Must be able to read prints and use more complicated measuring devices.
- Must have good mechanical & math skills, along with a knowledge of metals.
- Must satisfy quality standards.
- Communicates ideas to improve the organization.
- Clearly able to communicate orally and in writing.
- Uses clear independent thinking.
- Must work the scheduled shift, with minimal attendance & tardiness issues.
- Must conform to current environmental standards.
- Must participate in annual training to update and document job-related skills.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
- Lift up to 35 pounds.
- Exert 25 to pounds of force occasionally.
- Exert up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Adheres to and stays abreast of company policies.
- Ensures own safety and the safety of others by following all safety regulations.
- Commits to the corporate goals, mission and vision.
