Job Overview :

Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services / disposition according to patient s clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

• Bachelors in required field ( Psychology)
• Certified Screener

Preferred :

1 to 2 years’ experience

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable) :

Certified Screener

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions) :

• Nights
• Per Diem

Essential Functions :

• Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports in a timely manner prior to end of shift.
• Provides hotline information / referral / interventions that conforms to Screening guidelines.
• Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services / disposition .according to patient s clinical needs consideration of least restrictive alternatives.
• Screening Document contains clear description of dangerousness due to mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Screener Certification training.
• Screening Document reflects clear description of patient s mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS Certification training.
