Medical Assistants

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants that have worked in a Dermatology office to join our client's healthcare team.
The ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting their medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Hours : Mon-Fri 8a-5p , 1 half day Saturday per month (8am-noon)
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- MUST be able to function in a busy / fast paced environment
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Coordinate with various departments within the hospital or clinic systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred in Dermatology.
- Knowledge of dermatology practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care standards.
- Strong understanding of human physiology and medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations typical of hospital settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
