Job Background :

Citi Treasury Investments (CTI) : CTI is responsible for managing Citi Treasurys central liquidity and investment portfolios, executing the foreign exchange hedge program and providing internal US dollar financing to other trading desks.

CTI manages the USD interest rate risk for Citis accrual business (i.e. ex trading) to achieve Citis desired rate position.

CTI is also responsible for third party funding, such as the issuance of benchmark debt and structured notes, Credit Card securitizations, and liability management exercises (exchange offers, defeasance, etc.

for all capital securities issued through Citigroup Inc. and CBNA.

The FX & International Markets (FXIM) team within CTI is responsible for :

Overseeing FX hedging activities for Citis Net Investment, and; Conducting Non-US dollar sovereign bond investments and associated FX and interest rate hedges, and;

Managing foreign exchange risk for Citis non-US dollar debts, and; Overseeing non-US dollar capital investment in major countries

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct FX markets analysis for major DM and EM countries, such as central bank policies, fiscal policies, global trade flow, geopolitical events and cross asset class correlation;
• Execute FX hedging transactions with various tools of FX derivatives; Perform various analysis related to Citi Treasurys FX exposures and FX derivative transactions;
• Monitoring reports of the hedging activity to Senior Management and regulators; Help develop and maintain scenario based risk monitoring framework for all net investment hedge related limits and triggers;
• Coordinate with cluster and country Markets Treasury, Corporate Treasury, Controllers and Risk teams for execution of new projects, such as FX hedge for M&A activities;

Monitor and evaluate performance of Citi versus Peers and track competitors net investment hedge; Conduct FXIMs digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Minimum Bachelors degree in a finance-focused discipline from a top tier university;
• 10+ years of experience working in related functions; good understanding on macro, FX, and rates markets, or trading / booking systems;
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across different groups in different regions; Strong communication and presentation skills;
• High energy, self-starter with a desire to show creative ideas and continued progress;
• Good project management skills, and strong ability to manage multiple projects independently and develop reports and presentations;
• Strong Power Point and Excel skills;
• CFA would be a plus;
• M(Sc) is economics is a plus
