The Specialist, Education Product Marketing will have the opportunity to think holistically and creatively to amplify key resources and programs at the Appraisal Institute across a variety of marketing and communications channels.

Product marketing at the Appraisal Institute is largely focused on getting the organization's extensive education and community-focused resources into the hands of appraisers and other target audience members who can benefit from them the most.

The right person for this role will have a passion for crafting and executing high-visibility marketing campaigns, with the ability to execute tactically on them through strong copywriting, basic design, internal collaboration, external stakeholder management and analytics reporting.

This individual will oversee the marketing for a dedicated product suite at AI, liaising between the product owners and the marketing team.

This role will be responsible for supporting the product marketing team in framing and messaging Appraisal Institute their products with an authentic and human tone, as well as connecting marketing actions to growth in revenue, meaning that a "test and learn" approach to identify the most effective growth marketing tactics will be essential.

We are looking for a proven product marketing strategist who has the ability to build and iterate on plans designed to grow awareness and build revenue and thrives in staying up-to-date on the latest marketing tactics, from the evolution of paid social to creative partnerships across the diverse real estate ecosystem.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities And Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans across all channels (organic social, paid social, digital / website, ads, events, partnerships, etc.

to support the launch and ongoing sales of core Appraisal Institute offerings.

  • Iterate and write core framing language and descriptions for new and existing products. Use compelling storytelling and creative content to showcase the value of Appraisal Institute offerings.
  • Stay accountable to campaign deadlines, working closely with the marketing team to execute on core deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and resulting revenue impacts to the organization and recommend adjustments and improvements on an ongoing basis to optimize results.
  • Build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders and collaborators who can amplify the Appraisal Institute's products.
  • Benchmark product marketing campaigns and growth marketing tactics across various industries to inform best practices at Appraisal Institute.

Stay on top of trends.

  • Gain a deep understanding of the Appraisal Institute audience through ongoing surveys, power user interviews, and event attendance-and use those insights to inform marketing tactics and messaging.
  • Manage multiple projects and campaigns while ensuring quality of work.

What Qualifications, Skillsets, & Abilities You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, communications, business, or related discipline (diverse and multidisciplinary backgrounds welcomed).
  • 5+ years of experience working in product marketing in either an agency or in-house capacity.
  • Very strong writing and copyediting experience and impeccable attention to detail / style rules.
  • Experience in strategizing across a wide array of channels, and contributing to many different marketing project types : digital, social media, print, environmental / spatial, etc.
  • Flexible : comfortable with shifting strategies when necessary.
  • Passionate team player with a strong interest in real estate, community or economic development.
  • Innovative content and marketing thinker who loves to stay on top of industry trends and tools and leverage them at work.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented; creative problem solver.

What We Offer

We offer an excellent benefits package including - medical, dental, vision, PTO, & 401(k), and a convenient loop location close to public transportation for when you come into the office.

As well as a 37.5 hour work week. Salary range : $62,000 - $72,000 / yr.
