As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for program evaluation, quality assurance of program processes, contract / compliance / licensing adherence, and billing processes oversight and vendor engagement for our specialized programs.
Under the direction of the Program Supervisor and Clinical Services Medical Director you will propose and establish program goals, evaluate and determine program effectiveness, and measure and report on program success.
You will work closely with other staff to implement the policies and procedures for different areas within the program. We seek someone who thinks critically, identifies gaps and opportunities, and facilitates solutions

We Require
One year of experience in coordinating public health programs
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
A combination of post-secondary education and / orjob-related experience may substitute for theminimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Experience adapting public health practices to meet the needs of diverse populations
Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills
Experience inprogramcoordination,planning,programevaluation,stakeholder engagement, infectious disease programs, and / or state / local authority grants and contract
Job Contributions
Ensure compliance with TB / Refugee grant requirements, State and Federal statues, administrative code, and guidelines, develop and implement ongoing data and performance evaluation to track and measure the impact of interventions and activities
Identify opportunities for improvement through Quality Assurance processes / Program activity reports to collaborate with TB / Refugee supervisors make informed decisions to effectively supervisor program areas
Research, analyze, and recommend best practices for improving TB and Refugee health outcomes; Participate in and facilitates meetings, workgroups, presentations, or trainings
Assist program staff and others, on evaluation methods and tools, data visualizations and infographics, and performance data analysis
Propose and establish program goals, evaluate and determine program effectiveness, and measure and report on program success
Formulate policies and procedures; implement and make changes as appropriate
Compile and analyze information and resources and perform studies and research projects - present and provide recommendations for leadership decisions based on data results
Coordinate the development of trainings and informational materials to promote public / external stakeholder's understanding of program activities, services, and requirements
Conduct program-related studies and prepare written reports and recommendations in collaboration with Clinical Services Epidemiology team members
Maintain relationship with billing vendor activities and oversee all program processes related to AHCCCS / Health plan billing / coding and reimbursement
Support in monitoring grants, licensing, and program contracts; participate in monitoring the program budget, and ensure adherence to budget
Working Conditions
Most work is performed in an office environment
May be required to travel throughout the county for stakeholder engagement
May be required to travel nationally for conferences in Refugee and / or TB
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire
Must secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete a background check to include the Arizona Department of Child Safety Registry
Must be able to participate in emergency response training as scheduled and be available to respond as directed in the event of a public health emergency
- Within one month of hire, all employees are required to provide evidence of immunity or receive immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses for any position within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health;
- required immunizations include MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Tdap (whooping cough and diphtheria), Varicella (chickenpox), and annual Influenza;
some positions require a Hepatitis B vaccine and / or a Tuberculosis test
