Are you an expert in cost accounting with a passion for the manufacturing industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business strategy and operations.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting, including analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budget preparation.

Responsibilities :

As a Cost Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

1. Overseeing all cost accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

2. Analyzing manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

3. Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, including cost analysis, margin analysis, and forecasting.

4. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

5. Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and to provide financial guidance.

6. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

7. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

8. Participating in financial audits and liaising with external auditors.

9. Providing leadership and direction to the cost accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software.

4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

6. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team.

7. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

8. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
