Job Description and Qualifications for Logistics Specialist :
Sole responsibility for certain key accounts. This entails acquiring full relevant knowledge of your accounts’ business, their procedures, and requirements.
You are encouraged to develop a close working relationship with main contacts at your accounts.
- File-keeping (on customers and on specific shipments)
- Liaising with overseas partners by email, fax, phone
- Liaising with carriers, truckers and other freight agents by email, fax, phone
- You are encouraged to develop close working relationships with other client staff.
- You are absolutely encouraged for develop close working relationships with client’s customers and with our suppliers. Client constantly strives to provide the very best service in the industry, so your attention in this area is essential for the Company’s goals.
- Some rate negotiation with carriers. Coleaders, truckers, overseas agents
- Some quoting when needed
- Invoicing customers
- Some reviewing (approving / disputing) invoices payable
