East West Bank is currently seeking an Team Lead Loan Funder. This position will be responsible for underwriting of CCR, CCCM, process renewal, waiver, amendment and spreading including interacting with customer on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities
- Provide complete analysis of loan package for new deals, reviews and renewals
- Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Gathers and analyzes all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management for approval; may meet with existing or potential customers;
visiting sites of loans; negotiates loan terms and conditions; refers and recommends acceptance to Credit Administration.
- Ensures that credit inquires and UCC filings are researched to determine credit worthiness and appropriate collateral positioning are achieved.
- Assist with due diligence / analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos as appropriate
- Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of projections
- Assist in accurately risk-rating loans / credits.
- Evaluate both cash-flow and collateral-based loans / credits.
- Understand credit policy and procedures
- Deal with all areas of the bank and all customer types to accomplish the needs of clients
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years+ experience in analysis, underwriting, preparing loan proposals or commercial portfolio management.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or related
- Good knowledge of the financial institution's commercial and consumer lending procedures
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, team work oriented, take initiatives and a self-starter.
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $36.00 / Hr. - USD $41.00 / Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
