Catering Sales Lead

Catering

• Planning food menus in consultation with customers
• When necessary, take the initiative to put all catering orders into the deferred POS queue.
• Communicates larger orders to the Director Team.
• Ensure orders are prepared, scheduled accordingly, and communicated to involved teams.
• Confirm payment with the guest and leadership as needed.
• Ensure orders are tendered, as they leave the restaurant.
• Delivering catering orders to and from various event locations
• Delivers HIGH Chick-fil-A experience to all customers no matter the location or time.
• Ensures all catering preparation areas of the restaurant are tidy once orders are finalized and have left the restaurant.
• Assist with keeping inventory of catering supplies and inform the appropriate leader if any items are low or need to be ordered.
• Partner with both houses by providing feedback on systems and processes.
• Assist with creating new systems as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Make necessary decisions to honor our Winning Hearts Everyday! strategy.
• Continue to serve in the restaurant operations as needed to ensure continuous involvement and acknowledgment of Chick-fil-A procedures.

Outside Events

• Attend and assist with ADP events and execute to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Lead ADP events as needed, while representing Chick-fil-A Palmetto’s high standards.
• Take account of all equipment used off-site while also routinely maintaining the equipment.
• Maintain a spreadsheet that contains information on past, current, and future ADPs.
• Routine follow-up with paste events to ensure satisfaction and potential repeat guests.
• When necessary, be available to assist with handling the Chick-fil-A cow.
• Assist with the routine maintenance of the Chick-fil-A cow following every event.
• Meets with the Director team routinely to discuss potential events or areas to serve for future community awareness.

• All catering orders as delivered and or ready on time and fulfilled accurately.
• Catering fulfillment is followed through completely to standards.
• Guest recovery is above and beyond as needed.
• The kitchen is continuously informed of all catering orders.
• Catering guests become Raving Fans! (Repeat business and refer experience to others)
• Yearly sales goals are routinely visited to ensure they are on track to being met.
• The guest specifically requested Palmetto to return to a past event.
• Overall outside sales goals growth is on track to being 20%
• Waste at events 10%

Job Requirements :

• Excellent food preparation skills
• Catering experience is a plus
• A certificate in culinary arts is a plus
