Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, interpreting laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain proficiency in MyCase or TimeSlips for case management and time tracking.
- Handle Bankruptcy Law, Civil Litigation, and Civil Estate cases.
- Participate in trial proceedings and prepare for trial.
- Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an attorney.
- Licensed to practice law in Florida.
- Strong background in Bankruptcy Law, Civil Litigation, and Civil Estate.
- Proficiency in MyCase or TimeSlips.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with a driven and respectful demeanor.
- Preferred candidates will have trial experience or a strong interest in trial work
