As an Energy Transformation Consultant, you are supporting our customers in their journey towards decarbonization and digitalization, navigating the complexity of the energy transition and achieving their sustainability goals! Knowing that a sustainable future is not only possible, but necessary, you work hand in hand with our customers, developing innovative solutions that reduce their carbon footprint, increase their energy efficiency, and optimize their operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact :

As a highly motivated and Experienced Consultant for Energy Transformation, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects with a real impact on the world! You will work alongside experts in the field and have access to innovative technology and resources.

• Lead the Consulting teams responsible for US business in the Energy Transformation Area
• Proactively shape the future consulting business, team development and strategy of our consulting portfolio
• Lead the coordination and execution of major consulting projects
• Represent Siemens Energy Consulting Business in grid-related standardization committees, workshops and conferences;
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with internally with Sales and Execution Units and externally with customers, partners and regulatory authorities
• Support project acquisition in close alignment with the Sales functions, showcasing our capabilities

What You Bring

You are an individual who is passionate, innovative, and driven to make a difference with :

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business, economics or related field (MBA, Master’s or degree preferred)
• 20 or more years of experience in the consulting area with a focus on Integrated Resource Planning, Generation Planning and Energy Markets;

experience in Hydrogen, Smart Grids, Carbon-Footprint Reduction Technologies and Renewable fields preferred. *Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa

• Strong and robust network in the energy sector with the ability to generate impactful consulting business in the relevant areas (over 1,5 Mio. OI per year)
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful project management,
• Experience working and communicating with ISO, RTOs, utilities, municipalities, industrial clients and developers
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient language skill in English is required.
• Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
