Leidos is hiring a Deputy Program Manager to help provide program leadership to NASA to support a complex set of enterprise IT services, including network infrastructure, data center operations, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
In this position you will serve as a direct report to the Program Manager within Leidos for the NASA AEGIS Program. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with achieving financial, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and growth objectives.
- The Deputy Program Manager must be able to create and maintain a collaborative work environment; set goals; give clear direction to the team and provide decisive and constructive feedback;
- empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments; facilitate identification and capture of funded program growth;
and demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values. This person will help manage a complex IT service delivery program involving multiple tasks, multiple customer organizations, and complex responsibilities.
- Formulates and review project plans, assists in determining costs, and ensures conformance to work standards.
- Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards within AEGIS Operations, assigning work schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates.
Participates in IT strategy planning activities, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of infrastructure technology and systems and best practices (e.
g., ITIL) as related to the needs of the business.
- As the key interface into day-to-day Operations of the program, the Deputy PM will proactively research and recommend courses of action to prevent problems and to maintain high infrastructure service levels for the user community.
- Utilizes metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements for driving the performance of IT service delivery.
- Meets with management, technical and operating personnel within operating organizations to review requirements, present proposed action plans and to discuss and resolve technical, administrative and management problems and issues
- Works collaboratively with NASA OCIO, Center Leadership, and other NASA IT contractors and service providers.
- Supports Leidos internal business rhythms and reporting to senior executives on delivery of corporate financial commitments
- Supports continued development of financial acumen of the program operational leads to ensure effective cost management and financial planning
- Fosters a culture of growth mindset with the team and facilitates processes and rhythms that allow the program to efficiently and effectively exploit growth opportunities.
Required Skills / Experiences :
- A minimum of 10 years' experience managing large projects with organizational complexity.
- Experience with the management, manpower utilization, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects
- Proven Program Management experience across CPAF, and FFP contracts. This includes experience managing contract deliverable items, budgets, customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience and interaction with senior level customers (SES and above)
- Experience in effectively capturing on contract growth
- Experience managing IT contracts with focus on Customer Relationship Management across multiple stakeholder communities
Desired Skills :
- PMP Certified
- Experience managing on a large single award IDIQ contract
- ITIL Certification
- Experience managing IT managed services contracts.
Education & Experience :
BS +15 years of experience, or MS +10 years of experience

Pay Range : Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
