ONSITE POSITION, THIS IS NOT A REMOTE or HYBRID OPPORTUNITY
Position Summary :
We are seeking a Level 1 IT Support Technician to join our team here in Stamford, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for basic technical support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, data entry, and report generation.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a strong attention to detail, providing essential IT services to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Hardware Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues with computers, printers, peripherals, and other devices. Perform basic maintenance, setup, and configuration of hardware.
- Software Support : Assist in troubleshooting software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity issues.
Provide basic support for software installations and updates.
- Data Entry : Enter, update, and maintain accurate data within various IT systems and databases. Ensure all records are kept up to date and meet data integrity standards.
- Report Generation : Create and maintain regular reports, including IT asset management, incident reports, programmatic data and performance metrics.
Analyze data and provide insights to improve IT processes.
Supervision and Scope : The Level 1 IT Technician is responsible for the day to day activities ofthe Information Technology departmentThis includes working closely with the Program Directors for deliverables.
The Level 1 IT Support is supervised by the Director of Information Technology.

Duties
GENERAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in meetings once a month or as necessary to review data.
- Attend conferences, training sessions and workshops as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality in regards to staff and family information.
- Complete annual mandated staff training.
- Be present at work in order to provide consistency of services.
- Be a contributing team member in a positive / productive manner.
- Demonstrate commitment to mission, values, and policies in the performance of daily duties.
- Perform any other work-related duties as requested.
- All other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Educational Requirements :
- High school diploma.Associate’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years general office experience required.
- Basic computer literacy in email, word processing and internet navigation.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and an ability to manage priorities, various deadlines and abstract and concrete variables.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office.
