Monday-Thursday 3 pm -1 am

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Required Tasks)
- Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Brake Press operations.
- Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions.
- Required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs.
- Required to maintain cleanliness of the machine.
- Perform in process checks to maintain all required tolerances and quality.
- Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
- Communicate all production related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors.
- Create complex geometry equations and create bending programs with multiple hits and multiple tools.
- Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, deburring and inspection of parts to assure conformance will be required.
- Work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals / specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
- Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on blocks or pallet to eliminate double handling and work efficiently.
- Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities. Report all machine malfunctions to Management.
- Calculate blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed.
- Communicate with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.

SKILL SET (Required Skills)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous similar experience preferred.
- Must read and understand complex assembly prints fluently.
- Understand CNC control logic.
- Apply metric to English conversions.
- Able to obtain forklift certification

The duties of this job require the employee to perform mostly standing work with occasional movement throughout the facility to transfer or deliver parts.
Constant use of hands / fingers to handle and control welding equipment. Frequent lifting and / or pushing up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting and / or pushing up to 80 pounds.
Occasional bending, squatting, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
