Job Description
What you will be doing
- Analyze the quality baseline data to define quality priorities, KPIs, and prepare quality heat maps.
- Utilize A3 problem-solving techniques and initiate corrective action plans (CAPs) and preventative measures.
- Institute rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.
- Establish standards for the disposition of finished products by creating evaluation tests, methods, and procedures.
- Monitor and report on the plant’s (department / section / associate) quality performance.
- Develop and implement a variety of proactive initiatives / projects to support achieving the quality mission and drive quality performance for employees, departments, plants, and contractors / vendors.
- Ensure quality products by establishing and enforcing standards, and testing materials and products.
- Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and production operators.
- Implement the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and quality inspection processes in line with project requirements / specifications, alarming quality baseline data, and plant quality heatmap.
- Develop supplier evaluation and material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising testing methods and procedures.
What you will bring along
- and / or master's degree in quality management or related fields.
- knowledge in quality management within the window wall, curtain wall, and architectural aluminum industry.
- of 10 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- background in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality systems, and preferable knowledge of OHSAS.
- in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, CAD, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft BI applications.
- lead a larger team and has experience with indirect reports.
