Oberman Law Firm is a mid-size and nationally recognized law firm that is seeking to immediately hire a Legal Administrative Assistant, who is ready to join an exciting and energetic working environment.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening calls when necessary to ensure efficient communication.
  • Welcome and direct visitors and clients, ensuring a positive experience upon arrival.
  • Maintain and organize filing systems, as assigned, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Retrieve information as requested from records, emails, and other related documents.
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are ready in advance.
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and coordinate the maintenance of office equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the legal team and office operations.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Candidate must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to professionally interact with clients, as well as have superior organizational and document preparation skills.
  • Candidate must be motivated, self-starter, highly detail-oriented and manage tasks in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including SharePoint and Excel) and other law firm related software.
  • Ability to work independently, drive projects forward and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks / projects simultaneously within stated deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside of the firm.
  • Ability to organize files and willingness and ability to perform administrative function.

Education and Experience :

  • Experience Required : 2 to 5 Years.
  • Experience with web-based case management system, MyCase or Clio experience preferred, but not required.
