We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Livingston, TN. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded team, providing essential rehabilitation services to our patients and ensuring a seamless integration of care within the hospital’s operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the planning, direction, and organization of the rehabilitation program, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards (CMS, TJC, CARF).
- Collaborate with hospital administration and interdisciplinary teams to integrate rehabilitation services into the hospital’s primary functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, FIM certification, and adherence to CMS regulations.
- Lead the team in pre-screening, admissions, and ensuring ongoing compliance with program goals.
- Coordinate with staff and physicians to ensure accurate completion and submission of IRF-PAI.
- Provide financial accountability for the program, assisting in budget development, and meeting census, case mix, and transfer reduction goals.
- Conduct staff training and development to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate community outreach and marketing efforts in collaboration with the hospital’s marketing team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical field or healthcare administration is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive program improvement initiatives while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
