FocusKPI is looking for a Content & Learning Design Specialist to join one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company.

The Teamwork Lab studies teams to develop new ways of working that are more effective and adaptable to the needs of the modern worker.

We are seeking a Content & Learning Design Specialist to support our researchers and transformation experts by creating educational materials that help employees understand and experiment with these new work practices.

Our goal is to create engaging and informative content that helps client's teams work better together.

This role requires a creative and iterative approach : synthesizing information from diverse sources to shape your work products, and leveraging your expertise in content and learning design to transform ideas into impactful learning experiences.

Work Location : Remote - anywhere in the US

Duration : 5 months contract (30 hours / week)

Pay Range : $65 / hr to $73 / hr

Responsibilities :

  • Content & Learning Design : Create fun and interesting content to help people try out new ways of working. You’ll use a variety of formats including writing, infographics, virtual whiteboards, micro-learning experiences, or creating interactive online activities.
  • Design lifecycle management : Take charge of projects from start to finish, keeping everything on track with clear timelines and communication with team members.
  • Strategic Decision-Making : Use your knowledge and skills to make good choices about how to create and design learning materials in order to accomplish objectives set by the team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Gather ideas and feedback from colleagues with different types of expertise. Guide everyone through the process of creating content, ensuring it aligns with goals and expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement : Gather and incorporate feedback from learners to continuously improve and refine the learning materials.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience / training required.
  • 5-7 years related experience required in content design, learning design, or a related field.
  • Experience in creating instructional content and learning interventions that drive behavior change and skill acquisition.
  • Proficiency in content design and learning methodologies .
  • Familiarity with teamwork and future of work topic areas or working within research-focused teams is a plus.
  • Experience using various design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Rise360 ), and prompt engineering for generative AI is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Consultative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
