Description :
Dynamic, fast-growing E&P company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented JIB Accountant to perform and report on accounting activities across the organization.
This candidate should have experience with detail accounting processes, preferably in an Oil and Gas operator. Experience with BOLO is a plus.
Responsibilities :
Perform month-end closing journal entries and prepare account reconciliations.
Properly account and classify operated and non-operated well expenditures in accordance with JOAs.
Set up allocations.
Set up production and drilling overhead entries.
Be familiar with and have complete understanding of JIB decks.
Assist with WI owner inquiries and JV audits.
Review LOS for accuracy.
Process monthly accruals
Reconcile Capex, LOE, G&A, and JIB receivable accounts.
Perform ad hoc data analysis.
Liaison with operations and provide cost coding support to operations.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting field.
Experience with Oil and Gas ERP software (BOLO preferred).
3+ years of accounting experience for an oil & gas operator is preferred.
