Kable staffing is hiring an Operator for great client in Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time job, direct hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learns industrial math, print reading, and machining theory related to the department they are assigned.
• Under the guidance of the Level 3 Trainor or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department.
• which they are assigned.
• Loads raw material and unloads finished product from machine.
• Preforms basic deburring on product.
• Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
• Learns safe operation of, receives practical experience on : lathes and milling machines within the department. they are assigned.
• Follows sequence of operation on router.
• Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree ((lED) or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to travel stairs.
• Ability to communicate and get along with other employees.
• Must have a good work ethic.
• Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record.
• Must have aspirations of becoming a machinist.
• Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
• Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on frequent basis.
• Always adheres to Company safety policies.
