ACCOUNTANT ANALYST III

The company is currently seeking an experienced Accountant Analyst III .

Responsibilities :

Position Summary / Primary Purpose

The Financial Accountant Analyst III is responsible for assuring the integrity and completeness of the general ledger and financial statements.

Assumes responsibility and works with a high degree of accuracy utilizing data from multiple systems. This position reports to the Accounting Manager

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Assure integrity and completeness of month-end close of all balance sheet accounts and perform related account reconciliation, analysis, and preparation.
• Maintain account ledgers by preparing or reviewing account transactions, recurring entries, and month-end accruals.
• Supports the monthly and quarterly preparation and analysis of the financial statements for group financial statement package and consolidations.
• Supports ongoing process improvements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Basic Broad Knowledge

• Economics and Accounting Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Computer Programs Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP (a plus).
• English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

• Strong organizational, planning and documentation skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• CPA or MBA a plus

Demonstrated Physical Abilities

• Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move / traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment;
• operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking / hearing;

read / identify / assess forms and correspondence.
