Founded in 1996, Cook M&A is recognized as one of the leading buy-side M&A advisory firms in the industry. Our focus is on creating value for private equity, family offices and corporate acquirers by serving as a true intermediary to manage and facilitate the acquisition process.
Cook M&A works on behalf of clients to help originate proprietary M&A deals.
Research administrators will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal professionals to assist with research projects including identifying company and contact information of target lists, uploading / managing information in Cook’s CRM, and promoting effective communication across internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with research projects including leveraging databases for company and contact information, CRM system management, and ensuring a smooth transition of research data to internal origination team.
- Identify and verify contact information of target lists across various sectors, including email addresses and direct phone numbers of owners, founders, CEOs, Presidents, etc.
- Upload and manage Cook’s CRM system, including uploading and updating companies, contact information, and target-level information.
- Manage ad-hoc CRM maintenance.
- Compile and validate pertinent pieces on investor and target companies including websites, headquarter locations, and ownership structures leveraging manual and in-house resources.
Manage internal communication amongst teams composing concise emails with pertinent and nuanced upload data.

JOB CHARACTERISTICS
- Utilizing various tools and databases to verify market participants & identify contact information.
- Navigate various databases for specific information about investors, target companies, and / or management teams.
- Navigate and upload CRM information and update stale information.
