Lab Technician- 3rd Shift
Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 10 : 00pm- 6 : 30am
Pay Rate : $19-$21 per hour
Location : Tucker, GA
Experience required : 2+ years
Our client is chemical company that produces micronized rubber powders. They are looking for a Lab Technician who can perform the key duties.
Lab Technician- Job Duties include :
- Technical ability in laboratory equipment / machines (RO-TAP, Moisture Analyzers, balances, equipment related to particle sizing and rubber standards).
- Works cooperatively with operations on testing / operating protocols and requirements to meet and exceed quality requirements.
- Ensures that supervisor is aware of deviations from requirements.
- Assist laboratory technicians II and above with tasks / input in creating / improving working instructions and procedures.
- Reviews, releases, and records sample results and generates reports as needed.
- Evaluates raw materials, finished products, equipment, non-conformances / dispositions, and informs appropriate management personnel as required.
- Possess the ability to read work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
- Assist with needs focused on development and conducting of programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards of raw materials, in-process products, and final products.
- Understand and follow all procedures to meet requirements to maintain lab certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Lab Technician- Requirements may include :
- Minimum 2-year experience performing technical laboratory operations in areas listed above as well as quality control / quality assurance background.
- High School Diploma / College a plus (scientific discipline)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Lifting 35 lbs. and stand for long periods of time, reach, carry, move, push, pull, and bend.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $19.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
