JOB SUMMARY
The Utility Systems Maintenance Lead is responsible for the performance of all critical brewery support systems including water treatment, wastewater treatment, biogas treatment, industrial refrigeration, steam generation, compressed air, energy generation and transmission, bulk gas reclamation, storage, and distribution.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities :
- Inspect all utility systems on a routine basis and ensure that all equipment is operating within specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance on all equipment and components related to utility systems that support brewery production.
- Recommend and implement system improvement modifications and processes to maintain compliance, improve productivity, product quality, employee safety, and to maximize equipment reliability, availability, and up-time.
- Schedule and oversee all contracted maintenance and compliance initiatives related to utility systems.
- Help design a good preventative maintenance plan for all utility systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High Schol Diploma
- Trade School Certificate, Community College, or other accredited program completion
- 5 years minimum experience in related industrial field
- Experienced mechanic with the ability to learn new skills and equipment
- Extensive knowledge of utility system design and operation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with automation software and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Basic ability to troubleshoot low-voltage electrical componentry
- Ability to operate machinery, lifts, fork trucks and work with tools
