- We are looking for a skilled chemist to join our chemistry team.
- You will be joining a team that develop advanced materials sets for life science applications.
- This requires problem solving skills, teamwork, time management, and a commitment to excellence in performing hands-on chemistry.
- This is a wet lab operation so skill using lab equipment and materials along with exceptional attention to detail to meet our quality standards is expected.
Responsibilities :
- Drive continual improvement of Membrane products through process development and design changes resulting in high performance, process robustness and cost effectiveness.
- Daily management of technology development with respect to quality and process characterization, on time delivery, inventory, and productivity.
- Drive consistent process controls and work with cross-functional team for technology transfer to manufacturing.
- Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification and implementation.
- Disposition of non-conforming material.
- Generate and submit ECOs for manufacturing related changes.
- Be a back-up for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies.
Required :
- years experience.
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent. Hands-on experience working in a R&D and / or manufacturing environment a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Ability to document and communicate technical details clearly.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new projects and challenges.
- Creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Desirable :
- Experience with polymer chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.
- Experience with design of experiment (DoE)
