Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate PCAs to join our growing team! We are a community-based agency dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care for our clients.
We focus on building strong relationships and personalized care plans to ensure our patients' well-being.
Make a Difference in Someone's Life
As a PCA, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients' independence and daily needs. You'll provide companionship, assist with personal care tasks, and ensure their safety and comfort in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
- Medication reminders (not administration)
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with ambulation and transfers
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervisor
- Companionship and social engagement
- Document care provided and adhere to protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
- CPR / First Aid certification
