Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for oversight of the financial reporting, G / L accounting, and technical accounting functions.
- Responsible for oversight of the Financial Reporting Manager and Accounting Manager.
- Lead research and analysis of technical accounting topics.
- Work with Financial Reporting Manager to ensure the Company’s financials accurately reflect underlying transactions.
- Work with Accounting Manager to ensure royalty revenue checks are recorded accurately and timely.
- Participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and annual accounting close process.
- Review and / or perform various account reconciliations.
- Publish, review, and distribute various reports from the Bolo system as needed.
- Communicate financial information to management, including the Company executive team.
Required Qualifications
- US CPA
- 3 - 5 years experience in Managing Individuals in US GAAP Accounting
- Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Preferred Experience (not required)
- Oil & Gas or related industries
- Publicly Traded Companies
- Working at one of the Big 4 is a plus
