Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Enterprise Vulnerability Management to join our Enterprise Platform Operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Enterprise Vulnerability Management program, working closely with the Security Operations (Sec Ops) team, and ensuring compliance in our storage and data protection environments.
As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding CVS Health's Windows, Linux, and Unix systems and data, maintaining the highest standards of security, and mitigating potential risks.
Responsibilities : 1. Leadership
1. Leadership
- Lead and oversee the Enterprise Vulnerability Management program, ensuring the identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across CVS Health's infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for vulnerability management, focusing on proactive and risk-based approaches.
- Lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for team members.
2. Operations
- Establish strong working relationships with other cross-functional teams within CVS Health to promote a culture of security awareness and collaboration.
- Implement and manage vulnerability scanning tools and technologies to identify vulnerabilities in CVS Health's systems and applications.
- Oversee the prioritization of vulnerabilities based on risk assessment and potential impact.
- Create and deliver regular reports on the status of vulnerability management to executive leadership, providing insights into the organization's security posture.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and facilitate remediation efforts.
3. Audit / Compliance
- Collaborate closely with the Security Operations (Sec Ops) team to align vulnerability management processes with incident response and threat detection capabilities.
- Ensure that the vulnerability management program is compliant with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with storage and data protection environments.
4. Performance Management
- Implement monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address performance issues, optimizing server infrastructure efficiency.
- Assess vulnerability remediation plan and processes.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in information technology, with a focus on vulnerability management and related areas.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard vulnerability assessment tools and practices.
- Expertise in compliance standards, including but not limited to HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST.
- Proven experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is :
$86,700.00 - $187,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
