Sports Transactional Associate Attorney
Job Location : San Francisco, CA
Job Overview : A prestigious law firm in San Francisco is seeking a 4th to 6th-year transactional associate for its Sports Practice Group.
The role focuses on commercial transactions in the sports and entertainment sectors, with potential exposure to related fields such as real estate and intellectual property.
Duties :
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including naming rights and sponsorship agreements
- Assist in venue development and operations agreements
- Handle advertising and promotional agreements
- Manage athlete and entertainer transactions
- Collaborate with partners to serve clients in the sports industry
Requirements :
- 4-6 years of transactional experience, preferably in sports-related matters
- Demonstrated transactional skills in other industries may be considered
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications :
Membership in good standing with the California Bar
Skills :
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of sports and entertainment law is a plus
