currently seeking anindustry leading Associate II Vendor Outsourcing.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity tosupport sourcing and contracting for full service CRO contracts.This role responsibilities include : facilitating vendor selectionRFI RFP contracting and negotiation with a focus on CRO servicesoutsourced in support of clinical trials.
This person must be familiar with contracting frameworkand general legal terms.
Must be able toreview contracts quickly and to negotiate business terms andsupport negotiation of legal terms.
Strongorganizational and technical skills are a must to ensureappropriate cataloging of terms and conditions into adatabase.
Assists other Vendor Outsourcingstaff in resolving moderately complex issues relating to contractnegotiation or management and with the support of internalcustomers and the Legal department assists in the contractnegotiation process.
Has excellentcommunication skills and is comfortable interacting with internaland external teams such as clinical operations finance legalbusiness conduct vendor management and payments.
Completes tasksand projects under minimal supervision and has the ability tomanaging competing priorities effectively andproficiently.

Implements global clinicaldevelopment vendor strategy for a program or therapeuticareas
Manages contract activities for clinicaldevelopment programs providing consistent customer service anddelivering quantitative value through cost savings andtransformation / innovation
Supports the contractnegotiation process across the entire life cycle including RFIvendor identification RFP vendor selection decision contractingnegotiation change orders and ensures proper closeout of agreementsto maximize contract value and achieve target savings
Ensure the vendor selection process is compliant by managingrisks
Partners with other functions such as ComplianceLegal and Regulatory as necessary
Collaborates withinternal customers in vendor bidding and proposal development (RFPcreation and analysis)
Partners with internal customersto develop study specifications and leverages benchmarking tools asappropriate
Has experience resolving complex issuesrelating to contract negotiation and management
Supportsthe contract negotiation process for complex or high valuecontracts

Capabilities and Requirements
Experience inproviding consistent customer service
Knowledge of theendtoend sourcing and contracting process including RFx contractnegotiation and change order management
Experienced inusing systems and technologies in support of sourcing andcontracting activities
Knowledge of the clinicalresearch process and the regulatory environment acrossfunctions
Demonstrated productivity while working infast paced and changing environment
Financial acumen toreview analyze and understand cost drivers of complexbudgets
Legal clinical operations and regulatoryacumen
Knowledge Experience andSkills :
Relevant experience with a BA or MS in arelevant discipline
MBA or JD preferred
PMP / CPSM certification or equivalent a plus
