Laboratory Technician

Position Overview :
Receiving, labeling and analyzing samples. Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify / reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
Undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature.
Will help scan / digitalize in-house and outside material for the Pathologist review.
This position will scan physical pathology slides making digital images.
These images will be attached to the patient case for the Pathologist review.
The staff will need to be able to trouble shoot, when necessary, visually and also with the equipment.
Minimum Qualifications :
1+ years of experience as a lab technician with experience in digitalizing pathology slides.
Excellent computer skills a must.
LIS knowledge and familiarity or experience a must.
Minimum Education :
HS Diploma or Equivalent
