About the Role :

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director of Brand Marketing to help oversee our brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and brand experience.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.

They will be a creative thinker with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

This role will report to the Vice President of Brand Marketing.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA, at Dr. Squatch HQ.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $150,000 to $180,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do : Develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and increase brand awareness.

Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction that resonates with target audiences and aligns with company values.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and creative to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, print, and events.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive positioning opportunities.

Manage brand budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in brand marketing, continually seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

About You : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing brand strategies.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques.

Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and / or eCommerce industries.Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.

Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency.Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome.
