Due to continued growth, the law firm of Fernandez Legal seeks a highly experienced real estate paralegal. In this role, you will be instrumental in aiding our legal team in real estate and corporate transactions.

Your expertise will be essential in driving client satisfaction and firm operations efficiency.

Responsibilities :

Support aspects of commercial / residential real estate transactions.

Prepare and maintain closing checklist.

Perform title survey and zoning verification.

Issue policies and endorsements.

Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of legal issues related to real estate and corporate matters.

Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including contracts, agreements, leases, closing documents, letters of intent, and corporate filings.

Coordinate real estate closings.

Management of post-closing matters ensuring all involved parties are informed and documents are accurately executed.

Maintain and organize legal files and documents ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.

Engage professionally and effectively in communication with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant stakeholders.

Stay abreast of legal amendments and regulatory shifts pertinent to real estate and corporate law, actively sharing insights and updates with the team.

Qualifications :

A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm.

Strong knowledge and experience in real estate law, including transactional matters, title examination, and closings.

Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and document management systems.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Bilingual is desired, but not required.
