Job Description
- Certified by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (at the time of on-boarding or within six months); and have a minimum of six months experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting or be a graduate of an Academic Technician Training Educational Program.
- Have basic typing and PC computer skills.
- Have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Shall read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
- Capable of obtaining VetPro certification, which is a credentialing system that is required of all VHA licensed, registered and certified health care providers.
- Demonstrated inter-personal skills to effectively interact with peers.
- Demonstrated experience leading a group or project that would indicate the ability to manage and supervise others.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative / records management to assist with maintaining required records on staff background investigations, training and reporting.
