Focus :
- Lead the development and implementation of new products and processes in the field of thermoforming, focusing on sustainability and recyclability.
- Serve as a technical expert, engaging in discussions with key customers to introduce novel product concepts and solutions.
- Stay current with technological advancements and market trends to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and innovative.
- Execute complex projects using a stage gate process, from initial concept through to commercialization, including production trials and scale-up.
- Utilize Design of Experiment (DOE), Lean methodologies, and statistical analysis to optimize product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Document all phases of product development and contribute to the company's knowledge base to foster continuous learning and innovation.
- Develop and maintain critical quality specifications and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
Skill Set :
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of technical experience in product development, preferably in a manufacturing R&D or process engineering role.
- Demonstrated success in leading product development projects in thermoforming or related fields.
- Expertise in managing large-scale projects and familiarity with key account management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in applying project management and statistical analysis tools.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to mentor and develop talent within the organization.
