Front Signs is a leading full-service printing and sign-making company in LA. We provide a wide range of signage solutions for both commercial and residential projects.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sign Fabricator / Welder - 2nd Shift to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding custom signs according to client specifications and industry standards.
The job requires exceptional manual dexterity and precision.
Salary : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. negotiable
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate and assemble various types of signs including channel letters, light boxes, pylons, and more.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on aluminum, steel, and other metals.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Sign Fabricator / Welder or similar role.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience in a Sign Shop environment.
- Experience with a automatic channel letter bending machine.
- Able to learn new techniques fast
- Experience in work with hands and a good understating of measuring and cutting material to exact job specifications.
- Experience with applying graphics to substrates with high attention to detail.
- Ability to mount Interior and exterior signage to wall surfaces or substrates
- Ability to work with many different print and signage materials and substrates.
- Responsible approach and great teamwork
Salary : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
