Job Summary
The PeopleSoft Developer Sr will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of the PeopleSoft applications.
Works closely with business analysts and the business SME to define requirements and create solutions. Takes an active role in improving systems, applying strong troubleshooting skills.
Minimal Oracle database administration will also be required. Understands key Human Resource policies, practices, and procedures to translate business requirements into effective technical specifications.
Takes active steps to learn new technologies when implemented by TriWest.
Education & Experience
Required :
o Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field with courses in programming and database systems, or equivalent experience.
o 4 years development experience working with PeopleSoft HCM and Finance 9.2 or later o Experience writing SQL and SQRo PeopleSoft functional and technical expertise with some of the below modules : Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Expense, Human Resources, Payroll, Manager Self Serviceo PeopleSoft technical programming experience, including : PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Workflow Ability to write Shell scripto Strong familiarity with table structures of Oracle’s PeopleSoft HCM and Finance modules
Key Responsibilities
o Designs and develops PeopleSoft interfaces / integrations, data conversion exports, application enhancements, batch processes, workflows and custom reports.
o Participates in regularly-scheduled project reviews and statuses with client departments. o Performs complex coding assignments.
o Obtains a good understanding of user functions and their use of the PeopleSoft applications. o Recommends procedural changes to optimize application functionality.
o Extensive understanding and experience in PeopleSoft problem resolution o Skilled in environment creation / management, object data / migration, version control o Experience using and resolving PeopleSoft Audits o Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft Migration architecture and Change Control processes o Monitoring and maintenance of change control procedures and policies
o Performs on-call support duties. o Perform other duties as assigned.o Regular and reliable attendance is required.
