Job Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce plastic parts.
- Following all aspects of processing safety protocol.
- Changing out molds, completing setups, and repairing molds.
- Monitoring and preparing support equipment, such as dryers, color feeders, etc.
- Responsible for cleanliness of department and all processing equipment.
- Perform Mold cleaning and process documentation.
- Contribute to highly productive, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.
- Work with Team Leader on line clearance and 5S.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel, supervisors, and engineers to ensure quality.
- Maintain good documentation practices.
- Cooperation with internal production areas and other interfaces ( injection molding, quality, TCC / SEC, PCU, etc.).
- Participation in FMEAs according to specifications.
- Participation in machine and peripheral specifications.
- Support of transfer projects according to specifications.
- Internal contact person for managers, customer service.)
- Depending on the project focus : Assumption of the PLP role in projects with TCC / SEC.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding.
- A working knowledge and experience with injection molding and ancillary equipment.
- A working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic materials and their properties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with injection molding machines and robots.
